Falcón Fex and Fedecámaras Expo boost culture, business in Venezuela
The second edition of the Falcón Fex festival transformed Coro’s historic centre into a multicultural showcase, featuring nightly heritage routes, gastronomy, art, music, fashion shows and a kids zone. Governor Víctor Clark highlighted the event’s role in revitalising tourism and the local economy and praised the participation of entrepreneurs, artisans and performers.
In Valencia, the Expo Fedecámaras Carabobo 2026 opened at the Hesperia WTC hotel, drawing hundreds of brands and delegations from eight countries. Business leaders discussed competitiveness, while a segment of the opening ceremony called for semi‑privatising the national electricity system to aid industry and SMEs. The expo also hosted a diplomatic forum aimed at attracting investment to the Carabobo region.
Other Venezuelan municipalities hosted similar initiatives: Charallave’s two‑day gastronomic and cultural fair promoted family unity and local producers, and entrepreneurship schools in Falcón displayed creations from bakery to digital marketing, emphasizing skills training for youth and adults. Together, these events illustrate a broader push to combine cultural heritage with economic development across the country.
