Corona Extra remains Latin America’s most valuable brand
Corona Extra has maintained its position as the most valuable brand in Latin America for the third consecutive year, according to the 2026 Latin America 100 report by Brand Finance. The Mexican beer brand reached an estimated value of US$ 13.9 billion, a 4% increase.
Itaú follows in second place with a valuation of US$ 9.9 billion. The banking sector remains the most valuable in the region, accounting for nearly a quarter of the total value of the top 100 brands. Brazil and Mexico dominate the ranking, collectively representing approximately 79% of the total value, which reached roughly US$ 187 billion—a 13% increase from the previous year.
Other top-ranked brands include Modelo Especial (third), Mercado Livre (fourth), Bodega Aurrera (fifth), Claro (sixth), and Banco do Brasil (seventh). The top ten is rounded out by Bradesco, Telcel, and Nubank. While the banking and airline sectors showed growth, the insurance sector was the only major industry to see a decline in combined value.
