Coronango, Mexico to host Feria de Coronango 2026 with major music acts

The municipality of Coronango will hold the Feria de Coronango 2026 from 8 to 16 August, celebrating the Virgin of the Assumption with religious, artistic, cultural, sporting and gastronomic activities. Organisers expect around 30 000 visitors and an economic impact exceeding 3.5 million pesos. Security will be coordinated by the National Defense Secretariat, the Guard Nacional and neighboring municipalities.

The free program features performances by Kumbia Kings, Los Ángeles Azules, Los Cardenales de Nuevo León, Grupo Brindis and Súper Lamas, among others. The event also includes the election of a Cultural Ambassador, a traditional rondalla parade, a monumental carpet in the parish, a cycling tour and a local food market. Municipal President Armando Filemón Aguirre Amaro highlighted the expected attendance and economic benefits, while State Governor Alejandro Armenta Mier and Cultural Director Natividad Alarcón Ortega praised the festival’s role in preserving regional traditions.
