Coronation Street actors Junade Khan and Sam Robertson reveal real-life friendship

Actors Junade Khan and Sam Robertson, who play on-screen rivals Idris Nazir and Adam Barlow on Coronation Street, have revealed they are close friends in real life. Khan shared photos on Instagram of the pair attending a Manchester United match against Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford.

The match, part of the Carabao Cup, saw Manchester United lose 3-2 after leading 2-0.

Separately, Coronation Street actress Samia Longchambon, who plays Maria Connor, discussed the emotional impact of online trolling. Speaking on Loose Women, she admitted that reading negative comments had caused her to consider leaving the ITV soap.
