Coronation Street adds former Hollyoaks star Jacob Roberts and introduces Tim Metcalfe's cousin

Actor Jacob Roberts, known for his six‑year stint as Damon Kinsella on Channel 4’s Hollyoaks, has joined ITV’s Coronation Street as DC Kit Green. Fans of the long‑running soap were surprised to learn the actor had previously appeared in another British soap.

The show also announced that former Hollyoaks performer Nathan Sussex will appear as Richie, the newly‑introduced cousin of long‑standing character Tim Metcalfe. Producers say Richie’s arrival will bring a major storyline that tests Tim and his wife Sally Webster’s marriage and their role as foster parents.
