Coronation Street: Jodie Ramsey and Shona Platt face violent showdown

In Coronation Street, the storyline involving Jodie Ramsey and Shona Platt reaches a violent climax. Jodie has been attempting to manipulate Shona’s life, including using recordings of baby Harper crying to make Shona doubt her own sanity.

Bethany Platt discovered Jodie’s manipulation and attempted to intervene, but Jodie blackmailed her with a recording involving Kit Green. During a birthday party at the Bistro, Jodie successfully framed Lily Platt by playing the baby's crying through Lily’s phone, leading Shona to accuse Lily of psychological manipulation.

The tension escalates at No 8, where Jodie attempts to seduce David. The confrontation leads to Jodie pointing a gun at Shona and David. Although the characters initially believe the weapon is fake, a gunshot is heard, leaving a victim unidentified and prompting a police investigation.
