Coronation Street reveals Christina Boyd's secret connection to murder victim

In a major plot development for the ITV soap opera Coronation Street, character Christina Boyd has been revealed to have a secret connection to a recent victim. While reviewing funeral arrangements for Rachel, who was recently killed, Christina discovered that the deceased was actually her daughter.

Actress Amy Robbins described the revelation as a “terribly sad” ordeal that explains much of Christina’s character history. The discovery occurred after Christina accessed the undertakers' database and saw the death certificate, leading her to later reveal a locket containing a picture of the child to George Shuttleworth.
