COROS partners with Waseda University Ekiden division

COROS Sports Technology has entered into a partnership agreement with the Waseda University Track and Field Club's Ekiden division. The collaboration aims to enhance athlete training through the use of high-precision GPS devices and the ‘COROS Training Hub’ for centralized data management.

Katsuhiko Hanada, the Ekiden director at Waseda University, noted that the decision was driven by the need for accurate data regarding heart rate, altitude, and load management to develop athletes capable of competing on a global scale. The partnership follows previous testing and feedback provided by the coaching staff regarding the device's accuracy and ease of use.
