CORPFRUT S.A.S. maintains top international food safety certification

Ecuadorian company CORPFRUT S.A.S. has maintained the BRCGS Global Standard Food Safety Issue 9 certification with an AA+ grade. This international food safety standard is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).

The certification was awarded following an unannounced audit conducted by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF). This unannounced evaluation demonstrates that the company’s safety processes and controls are consistently maintained during daily operations. The BRCGS standard evaluates several critical areas, including HACCP, traceability, supplier and process control, hygiene, risk management, food defense, food fraud, and food safety culture.

This achievement is intended to strengthen CORPFRUT’s position with international retailers, importers, and distributors. The company also utilizes its food innovation platform, OZY-FOODS, to develop products such as pouches and pulps, as well as private label projects for international markets.
