Corpoelec addresses electrical issues in Anzoátegui, Venezuela
Corpoelec crews have restored electricity in the Mi Jardín sector III after a continuous 12-hour repair operation. The outage, which began Friday night, was caused by high-tension line failures, reportedly resulting from short circuits and network overloads.
Community spokespersons noted that inadequate electrical installations in local workshops and small factories have caused recurring failures and blown fuses. Residents have called for improved community organization and better compliance with electrical standards by local businesses to prevent future collapses.
In a separate incident in the San Francisco de Asís sector of El Tigre, residents are requesting urgent maintenance to prevent outages. Concerns have been raised regarding tree branches interfering with power lines, which poses a risk during heavy rain and wind. Additionally, some families in the area have reportedly been without 220v service for nearly three months following a transformer failure.
