Corporació de Salut del Maresme i la Selva reorganizes hospital services

The Corporació de Salut del Maresme i la Selva is reorganizing its facilities to increase patient care space while awaiting the expansion of Hospital Sant Jaume, which is projected for completion between late 2030 and early 2031.

To achieve this, several internal management departments—including Corporate Social Responsibility, Public Procurement, Legal Advisory, Billing, Accounting, and General Services—have been relocated to a new corporate headquarters in a former travel agency building located near the hospital. This new site also includes training rooms and a simulation room for residents and professionals.

The technical preliminary project for the hospital expansion is in its final stages. While the manager, Sònia Pérez, indicated that the project will proceed, the exact start date for construction remains dependent on budget availability.
