Corporación El Rosado expands retail presence in Manabí

Corporación El Rosado has opened two new commercial complexes in the Manabí province of Ecuador within a single week.

On October 27, 2026, the Hipermarket Barbasquillo opened in Manta. The three-level facility covers approximately 28,000 square meters and includes brands such as Mi Comisariato, Hipermarket, Ferrisariato, and Mi Juguetería. The complex also features Supercines, various dining options including Chili’s, and an underground parking garage for roughly 400 vehicles. The development is situated in the Barbasquillo area, a growing urban hub for residential and tourism projects.

This follows the October 20 opening of El Paseo Shopping Chone. This second location spans 9,922 square meters and integrates Mi Comisariato, Ferrisariato, Rio Store, and Mi Juguetería. The Chone facility includes 10 regular checkout lanes, 4 self-service lanes, and 282 parking spaces, offering products ranging from groceries and bakery items to construction supplies and fashion.
