Corporate AI adoption gaps revealed in Brazil and France

A study by Hashtag Treinamentos of 5,569 Brazilian workers found that only 13% use artificial intelligence (AI) in an advanced way at work, with most applying it merely for quick searches, drafting emails or simple productivity tasks. Only about a third (33%) employ AI for corporate data analysis, while automation and intelligent workflow creation remain limited to a small minority. The research highlights a mismatch between the rapid spread of AI tools and the lack of employee training needed for strategic use.

A Kantar survey for Master the Monster in France reported that 46% of employees rely on personal AI tools at work, a phenomenon termed "shadow AI". Nearly half (47%) say their companies provide no AI tools, and only a quarter of those that do find them adequate. Seventy percent of French AI users are self‑taught, and most organisations lack a clear AI strategy, raising concerns about data security and consistency. Both studies point to a need for better corporate AI training and deployment to move beyond fragmented, basic usage.
