Corpus Pindó-í project presented as development opportunity for Misiones
The Corpus Pindó-í project was presented during the XVI Research, Technological Development, Extension, and Linkage Days (JIDeTEV 2026) at the Universidad Nacional de Misiones (UNaM) in Oberá.
As a multipurpose initiative, the project was analyzed within the context of Misiones' current energy landscape and the transition toward clean, renewable energy sources. Discussions focused on the potential of the Paraná River basin, which contains over 60 hydroelectric sites.
Beyond electricity generation, the project is being evaluated for its capacity to drive economic, technological, and productive development in the province. Key areas of interest include improvements to navigation and logistics in the Alto Paraná region, infrastructure investment, tourism, and the creation of new productive activities through reliable renewable energy.
