Team captain Vicente Emanuel Torres Chiriboga described the upcoming match against Coyotes de Tlaxcala at Estadio Tláhuicole as a “final,” noting that the squad remains motivated despite a recent slump.

However, head coach Gabriel ‘Místico’ Pereyra expressed concern regarding the team's recent form. Following losses to Alebrijes de Oaxaca and Dorados de Sinaloa, the team sits in eleventh place with 16 points. Pereyra admitted that the level of play in the last two matches has made qualification difficult, citing a loss of aggressiveness, clinical finishing, and personality compared to the team's strong start to the season.
