Correcaminos UAT prepares for Oaxaca match amid home form struggles

Correcaminos UAT is preparing to face Alebrijes in Oaxaca for the opening match of week 12 of the Liga de Expansión MX Apertura 2026. Under the direction of Gabriel Pereyra, the team is seeking crucial points to secure a qualification spot, currently sitting one point away from the qualifying zone.

The squad has recently demonstrated defensive strength, maintaining a clean sheet for 180 minutes despite recent injury adjustments. Key players include goalkeeper Emiliano Pérez and defenders Catalán and Ortega.

Despite their recent defensive form, the team has struggled to establish dominance at their home stadium, Estadio Marte R. Gómez. In six home matches this season, Correcaminos has secured only nine points, resulting in a 50 percent effectiveness rate. Their recent home performance includes two wins, three draws, and one loss, most recently resulting in a 0-0 draw against Cruz Azul Hidalgo.
