Corredor Ecológico Corinthiano plants 560 native trees in São Paulo

The Corredor Ecológico Corinthiano (CEC) has planted more than 560 native Atlantic Forest seedlings in the eastern zone of São Paulo. Established in June 2025, the initiative involves Corinthians supporters working to increase greenery around the Neo Química Arena in Itaquera.

Technical teams, including forest engineers and biologists, define the planting locations and create arborization plans to ensure the sustainability of the project. The initiative aims to combat the lack of vegetation in the region, where many districts fall below the city's average vegetation coverage of 27.29%. The project is coordinated by several entities, including Gaviões da Fiel and Coletivo Democracia Corinthiana.
