Correggio restaurant owner assaulted following customer dispute

A 48-year-old man residing in Correggio has been reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Reggio Emilia following an assault on a restaurant owner. The incident occurred during a private celebration where a group of customers had pre-ordered a specific menu.

According to investigators, tensions rose when members of the group requested changes to their pizza orders, leading to delays in service. When the restaurateur approached the table to clarify the situation, he was allegedly struck in the face, causing him to fall and sustain injuries. The Carabinieri have identified the suspect and are conducting preliminary investigations into the charge of personal injury.
