Corregidora implements new community services and pet-friendly policies

Corregidora Mayor Chepe Guerrero has implemented several new community-focused initiatives in the municipality. During a 'Jornada Aquí Contigo' event in the Santa Bárbara neighborhood, the local government provided direct access to various municipal services, including civil registry, legal advice, and medical and dental care. The event also offered a 100 percent discount on fines and surcharges for property tax and operating licenses, alongside food assistance via a mobile kitchen.

Additionally, the municipal government has designated the Centro de Atención Municipal (CAM) El Pueblito as the first 'Pet Friendly' government building in Corregidora. The initiative aims to promote responsible coexistence with companion animals. Under the new rules, pets are permitted in the building provided they are supervised and on a leash, with muzzles recommended for larger or reactive animals. Owners are responsible for cleaning up waste and ensuring no disruption to staff or other visitors. Access remains restricted in medical areas, restrooms, and specific offices to maintain hygiene and safety.
