Corregidora Mayor recognizes adapted sports athletes

Chepe Guerrero, the municipal president of Corregidora, met with adapted sports athletes who will represent Querétaro in the upcoming Paralympics. The meeting also honored two athletes who recently won medals in a Para Swimming competition held in Guadalajara.

During the event, Guerrero highlighted the creation of the Adapted Sports Department (Jefatura de Deporte Adaptado) as a fulfilled campaign promise designed to provide specialized attention to athletes and people with disabilities within the municipality. He emphasized the need to provide better conditions for training and development for high-level athletes and coaches.

Municipal authorities, including Social Development Secretary Germán Borja Garduño and Municipal Sports Institute Director Luis Gómez Ugalde, confirmed that the materials requested by the athletes are available and will be delivered to support their training and competition processes.
