Corregidora Municipality provides housing aid and awards to police

The Municipality of Corregidora, through its Municipal Public Security Secretariat (SSPM), has distributed housing support and efficiency awards to local police officers. Under the program ‘Cuidamos a Quienes Nos Cuidan, Mejorando sus Hogares’ (We Care for Those Who Care for Us, Improving Their Homes), five economic grants were provided for the construction and improvement of housing.

In addition to the housing aid, 30 efficiency recognitions were awarded to officers for their recent operational performance. Carlos Contreras, Chief of Staff, represented Municipal President Chepe Guerrero during the ceremony, stating that providing stability for officers' families allows them to better perform their duties.

Adrián Arturo Arroyo, head of the SSPM, noted that ensuring property certainty for security forces is an institutional priority. The beneficiaries were selected by the Police Professional Career Service Commission based on criteria including seniority, productivity, disciplinary history, and service vocation.
