Corresur to accelerate Route 3 roadworks in Argentina

The concessionaire Corresur has presented a four-month schedule to the National Highway Directorate (Vialidad Nacional) to accelerate roadwork on Route 3, specifically for the section between Cacharí and Azul. This accelerated timeline follows a ruling by the Federal Chamber of Mar del Plata following a presentation by the Municipality of Azul.

Originally planned to take one year, the improvements will now be completed within four months. Corresur's general manager, Ignacio Enrique Bustamante, acknowledged the poor condition of the road, noting deteriorated surfaces, potholes, deformations, and lack of horizontal signaling. The planned interventions include superficial and deep patching with hot bituminous mixture and crack sealing.
