Corrida de la Insurgencia 2026 announced for Aguascalientes

The ninth edition of the Corrida de la Insurgencia has been officially announced to take place on September 19 at the Plaza de Toros San Marcos in Aguascalientes, Mexico. The event features a high-level lineup including Juan Pablo Sánchez, Octavio García “El Payo”, and the Spanish matador Román. The bullfight will involve three bulls from the Santa Inés ranch and three from La Asunción.

This edition includes a milestone for matador Joselito Adame, who will debut as a breeder for La Asunción. The event is designed as a multidisciplinary cultural experience, featuring musical performances by the Aguascalientes Symphony Orchestra and artistic interventions by Isabel Garfias.

Maintaining its philanthropic mission, all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the DIF Estatal to support social assistance programs for vulnerable sectors in the region.
