Corrientes, Argentina and Concón, Chile unveil new sports facilities

Mayor Claudio Polich visited the Santa Catalina area in Corrientes, confirming the municipal government's continued investment in roads, drainage and access improvements to support a growing sports corridor. He highlighted the collaboration with local clubs such as Deportivo Mandiyú, Cambá Cuá, and Abogados FC, noting that "Los clubes están realizando inversiones muy importantes. Nosotros colaboramos con obras de accesibilidad e infraestructura porque creemos que este tipo de iniciativas fortalecen la participación social y contribuyen al desarrollo de la comunidad".

In the Valparaíso region of Chile, the commune of Concón opened its first international‑standard BMX track, part of a 60‑million‑peso project. Mayor Freddy Ramírez said the venue "se suma al proyecto de Concón Ciudad 2030, donde la recuperación de espacios públicos, el mejoramiento de espacios deportivos, ha sido parte primordial de nuestra gestión." The track aims to host national and international competitions and to train future champions.
