Corrientes Book Fair Sets Up Giant Screen to Broadcast Argentina World Cup Semifinal

The provincial government of Corrientes announced that a giant screen will be installed on the Cacho González Vedoya stage of the 16th Corrientes Provincial Book Fair to air the Argentina national team’s World Cup semifinal live. The broadcast will run from 14:00 to 19:00, during which book stalls will pause sales and resume after the match.

The fair has recorded strong commercial results, with total sales exceeding 90 million pesos and nearly 6 000 titles sold in its first week. Visitor traffic has surpassed 46 000 people, highlighting the event’s role as a major cultural and economic driver for the region.
