Corrientes Court Launches National Adoption Call for 9‑Year‑Old Girl
The Judicial Power of Corrientes, through the Family, Children and Adolescents Court No. 6 in the provincial capital, issued a public nationwide invitation to adopt a nine‑year‑old girl who has been institutionalised since 2022. In September 2024 the child was declared adoptable after all possible relatives and caregivers were exhausted. The call, made under case file GFA 11897/1 by Judge Pierina Itatí de los Ángeles Ramírez and coordinated with the Registry of Applicants for Adoption with Guard‑Purpose (RUACtes), is open to individuals, couples or families from any part of Argentina.
Applicants must commit to providing a stable, loving home, support the girl’s schooling and extracurricular activities, and ensure continuity of her health care, which includes fortnightly psychological sessions, periodic psychiatric check‑ups and prescribed medication. The court emphasised the need for emotional stability, patience and daily accompaniment to foster the child’s autonomy and confidence.
