Corrientes hosts 37th National Parliamentary Stenography Conference

The 37th National Parliamentary Stenography Conference has commenced in the city of Corrientes, Argentina. The event was inaugurated by Pedro Braillard Poccard, President of the Senate, and Eduardo Tassano, President of the Chamber of Deputies.

During the opening, Eduardo Tassano emphasized the importance of continuous knowledge updates and the exchange of experiences in the face of rapid technological advancements. He noted that while technology is transforming the field, human supervision remains essential, particularly regarding the ability of stenographers to express nuance and emotion that artificial intelligence may struggle to replicate.

María Eloísa Roteta, head of the Corrientes Stenographers' Corps, expressed gratitude to the Chamber of Deputies and the Unión de Taquígrafos y Estenotipistas Profesionales de la Argentina (UTEPA) for their 37 years of support in fostering professional training and camaraderie among workers.
