Corrientes hosts provincial educational chess final

The Corrientes Ministry of Education is hosting the final of the Provincial Educational Chess Encounter for primary and secondary school teams. The event, held at the Physical Education Center No. 1 Gymnasium in the provincial capital, features over 250 students.

This competition is part of a broader provincial educational policy aimed at strengthening student development through logical reasoning, problem-solving, and collaborative work. During the first half of the year, the program saw significant growth, with more than 2,400 students participating in local tournaments and 865 students competing in zonal championships. Since the program's inception, approximately 150,000 students have received training in chess.
