Corrientes officials upgrade hospital infrastructure for El Niño

Authorities in Corrientes are adjusting hospital infrastructure to prepare for the potential impacts of the El Niño phenomenon. Ministers Jorge Meza of Public Works and Emilio Lanari of Health inspected the Hospital Escuela to oversee strategic works aimed at improving the facility's operational capacity during extreme weather.

The inspections focused on the hospital's basement to recover technical and operational areas, as well as the readjustment of the storm drainage and sewage systems. These measures are designed to mitigate flooding and other complications caused by heavy rains. Officials confirmed that these technical inspections and assessments of drainage and building stability will be extended to other health centers throughout the capital and the interior of the province.
