Corrientes students present research on historical architectural plans
Students from the Carmen Molina de Llano Higher Institute are presenting research on the historical plans of the Ministry of Public Works, treated as architectural heritage in Corrientes. The presentation, titled ‘Urban memory traces: historical plans of the Ministry of Public Works as architectural heritage of Corrientes’, will take place on Friday, October 16, at the Casa Martínez Archaeological and Anthropological Museum.
The research was conducted by third-year Library Science students Martín Flores Billordo, Emilia Gómez, and Tatiana Montenegro as part of their professional practices. Their work focuses on the preservation, conservation, and organization of historical documentation, including plans for emblematic provincial buildings such as the Templete de Yapeyú. This initiative aims to recover and provide access to valuable documentary heritage for further research and dissemination.
