Corrientes to host international buffalo production congress

The province of Corrientes is preparing to host the first International Bubalino Congress and the first Expo of the Asociación Búfalos del Iberá 2026 in Ituzaingó. Scheduled for October 8–10, the event aims to position the region as a global leader in buffalo production.

The congress will bring together producers, researchers, and specialists from Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, and Colombia. Key topics of discussion will include meat and milk production, health, reproduction, genetics, and sustainable production systems. The initiative is organized by several entities, including the INTA Corrientes Experimental Agricultural Station, the Asociación Búfalos del Iberá, the National University of the Northeast, and local government authorities.
