Corriere della Sera reorganizes economy editorial leadership

Corriere della Sera is implementing a significant reorganization of its economic and financial news editorial team. Starting in October, Daniele Bellasio will join the newsroom as editor-in-chief to lead the economy desk.

Bellasio will be supported by Paola Pica, who has been promoted to deputy editor-in-chief, and Paolo Ligammari, who will continue to manage digital development for the economic area. This restructuring follows the conclusion of Nicola Saldutti’s 17-year tenure as head of the sector. Saldutti will transition to the role of editorial manager for the weekly publication Corriere Economia starting in November, where he will oversee both print and web editions.

Additional changes include Giuditta Marvelli’s promotion to deputy editor-in-chief of the supplement, and Federico De Rosa’s transfer from the Milan economy desk to the Rome bureau to handle political-economic coordination.
