CORSAIR announces wooden front panels and upgraded I/O panels
Ask Corporation has announced the release of new CORSAIR PC case accessories, including the ‘FRAME 4000/5000 WOOD Front Panel’ series and the ‘FRAME 4000 ELITE Front Panel I/O’ series. Scheduled for release on September 3, these products aim to integrate PC hardware into home interiors.
The WOOD Front Panel series features FSC-certified natural wood slats designed for the FRAME 4000 and 5000 series. Walnut slats are available for black cases, while oak slats are provided for white cases. The panels use a tool-free snap-on design for quick installation and are structured to maintain airflow through the wooden slats. Prices are expected to start around 4,980 yen.
The FRAME 4000 ELITE Front Panel I/O series is an upgrade for FRAME 4000D/4000X series cases. It includes three USB Type-C ports, featuring one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port (up to 20Gbps) and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports (up to 5Gbps). Additionally, the power button includes 5V ARGB lighting and utilizes a replaceable MX Green mechanical switch. These panels are expected to cost approximately 4,280 yen.
