Corsair invests in Bitfocus to expand professional broadcast solutions

Corsair Gaming announced a minority investment in Oslo‑based Bitfocus AS, the developer of the Companion and Buttons platforms used for broadcast, live events and AV control. The funding deepens an existing collaboration that links Corsair’s Elgato Stream Deck hardware with Bitfocus’s enterprise‑grade Buttons software, creating a combined hardware‑software offering for professional production environments.

Both companies said the partnership will accelerate joint research and development and broaden market reach. Bitfocus CEO Ole‑Andreas Løvland highlighted the capital and market insights from Corsair, while Corsair CEO Thi La noted the move aligns Stream Deck’s roadmap with the professional focus of Buttons, extending Elgato’s presence from creator desks to high‑value broadcast studios.
