Corsair launches HS80 v2 MAX WIRELESS gaming headset

Corsair has announced the launch of the HS80 v2 MAX WIRELESS, a high-end gaming headset designed for competitive players. The device features 50 mm non-Newtonian laminate drivers specifically engineered to reduce residual vibrations following loud sounds, such as explosions, allowing quieter audio cues like footsteps or reloads to remain audible.

Key technical specifications include a 10 mm broadcast-grade microphone with a built-in pop filter and a flip-to-mute function. The headset supports simultaneous 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth connectivity. Battery life reaches up to 110 hours via the 2.4 GHz connection and up to 130 hours via Bluetooth when RGB lighting is disabled. A 15-minute quick charge provides approximately six hours of usage.

On PC, the headset supports Dolby Atmos for spatial audio and is compatible with NVIDIA Broadcast for AI-driven noise reduction of ambient sounds and keyboard clicks, provided the user has a compatible NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics card. The headset is compatible with PC, Mac, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
