Corte Argentino USA recalls 30,000 pounds of Argentine beef

Corte Argentino USA LLC, an importer based in Aventura, Florida, has issued a recall for approximately 29,628 pounds of raw beef products imported from Argentina. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) determined the shipment bypassed mandatory federal import reinspection.

The affected products were distributed to retailers and distributors in Florida and Texas. The beef, produced by Frigorífico Gorina SAIC, includes various cuts such as Top Sirloin Butt, Eye Round, Topside Cap Off, Flat, and Knuckle. The products were manufactured between May 15 and May 20, 2026, and carry use or freeze-by dates between September 15 and September 20, 2026. Recalled items are identifiable by Argentinian establishment number ‘EST. N° OF. 2025’ and shipping mark ‘26644-AA’.

While the FSIS classified the recall as a Class I hazard due to the lack of required safety checks, there have been no confirmed reports of illness or injury related to the consumption of these products. Consumers are urged to discard the beef or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
