Cortes de Aragón begins new legislative session

The Cortes de Aragón has commenced its new legislative session, marking the first full year for the PP-Vox coalition government. President María Navarro met with parliamentary spokespersons to organize the upcoming period, emphasizing the need for dialogue and respect.

Key legislative priorities for the upcoming months include the approval of the 2027 General Budgets for the Autonomous Community and the advancement of the Housing Law. Additionally, the parliament is expected to address the migration crisis in Ceuta through inter-parliamentary cooperation.

The session is also heavily focused on the management of forest fires, which recently burned over 40,000 hectares in the region. While the government block focuses on its legislative roadmap, opposition groups, including the PSOE, have raised concerns regarding fire prevention and management strategies.
