Corteva launches Enclosa herbicide for US soybean farmers

Corteva has introduced Enclosa, a new soybean herbicide that combines a proprietary encapsulated form of acetochlor with cloransulam. The product received approval from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and is awaiting state clearances. Enclosa is designed to control more than 36 broadleaf weeds and grasses, offering up to four weeks of residual activity and flexibility for both pre‑ and post‑emergence applications. The herbicide can be mixed with other common products such as metribuzin, sulfentrazone, glyphosate, or glufosinate, and is positioned to complement Enlist One and Enlist E3 soybeans. Corteva’s Portfolio Marketing Lead for soybean herbicides, Drake Robards, said the launch adds a versatile option to help farmers manage weed resistance and improve yield potential.
