Corteva launches Salibro nematicide for tomato crops

Corteva has launched Salibro, a new nematicide designed to control nematodes in tomato crops. Formulated with the active ingredient Reklemel, the product belongs to a new chemical group that works through contact to immobilize organisms, preventing them from infecting plant roots.

Javier Solar, Product Manager for Fruits and Vegetables at Corteva for Argentina and Chile, noted that the development followed years of research and regulatory work. The product aims to protect the root systems of tomatoes from species such as Nacobbus, which can impair nutrient and water absorption and increase vulnerability to other pathogens like Fusarium.
