Cortijo Guadiana and Agrícola El Bosque receive sustainability awards

Cortijo Guadiana has been awarded the Fundación Mapfre prize for the best agricultural initiative. Located in Jaén between the Cazorla and Sierra Mágina natural parks, the farm is recognized for a model that integrates traditional olive cultivation with technological innovation and environmental protection. Since 2005, the estate has implemented regenerative agriculture, digital agronomy, and renewable energy, including a floating photovoltaic plant to reduce water evaporation.

Additionally, the Andalucía Tourism Awards 2026 were held in Huelva, honoring various individuals and companies contributing to the region's tourism development. Among the winners, the Huelva-based company Agrícola El Bosque S. L. - La Canastita received the award for Sustainable Tourism Initiative.
