CORTIS draws fan backlash over debut concert as first solo tour begins

CORTIS, the newly debuted five‑member boy group, held its first concert on 18 July 2026. The show lasted about 1 hour 40 minutes, featured no outfit changes and included repeated performances of songs such as “REDRED,” “YOUNGCREATORCREW” and “Mention me.” Fans criticized the short runtime, lack of cover stages and the extensive encore repetitions.

The same days marked the launch of CORTIS’s first solo tour, titled “PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN.” The tour opens with sold‑out shows in Incheon’s Inspire Arena and will span 14 performances across nine cities, including Seoul, locations in North America and Japan. The group’s agency BIGHIT MUSIC promoted the tour’s aim to deliver an immersive, high‑energy experience and warned audiences to set aside smartphones and fully enjoy the moment.
