Hanroro and Cortis resolve lyrical controversy

Singer-songwriter Hanroro and the group Cortis have resolved a controversy regarding lyrical references in Cortis’ new track, ‘MONEYMONEYMONEY’. The dispute arose from a lyric that used Hanroro’s name and her song ‘0+0’ to rhyme with themes of bank account balances, which some fans interpreted as mockery or a trivialization of her music’s emotional depth.

In response to the backlash, Cortis member Keonho clarified on the fan platform Weverse that the lyric was intended as a ‘shout-out’ to Hanroro, whom he described as a long-time fan and a musical inspiration. He expressed deep respect for her songwriting, noting that he had studied her lyrics closely.

Hanroro responded positively to the clarification, stating that she has been a fan of Cortis since their debut and views the musical interaction as a meaningful way for artists to communicate. She noted that she is accepting the reference ‘with good intentions’ and encouraged her fans not to be upset by the incident.
