Cortizo announces 315 million euro expansion plan through 2030

Cortizo, the Galician multinational specializing in aluminum and PVC solutions, has announced its ‘Expansion Plan 2030’. The company intends to invest 315 million euros over the next four years to drive international growth and increase production capacity.

Key components of the plan include the construction of four new plants located in the United States, Portugal, Romania, and Padrón. The projects in the United States and Portugal are highlighted as the most ambitious, with the latter being a 360,000-square-meter facility in Chaves, Portugal, expected to begin operations by late 2027. Additionally, a new PVC foiling center with automated warehouses will be established in Padrón with a 36 million euro investment.

By 2030, Cortizo aims to increase its aluminum production capacity by 68.5%, rising from 150,000 to 255,000 annual tons, and its PVC capacity by 67%, reaching 105,000 tons. These expansions are projected to boost annual turnover by 36.5%, reaching approximately 1.35 billion euros, up from 989 million euros in 2024. The company also expects its workforce to grow to 5,030 employees.
