Corumbá issues 30-day deadline for municipal tax debt regularization
The Corumbá Municipal Attorney General's Office (PGM) has issued a general notification granting taxpayers a 30-day period to regularize municipal debts. This notice applies to both individuals and legal entities with tax and non-tax credits registered in the Active Debt for the years 2021 through 2025, as well as those with overdue or broken installment plans.
Debts include taxes, fees, administrative fines, and non-tax credits. Taxpayers can consult their status and issue payment slips via the Contribuinte Portal, in person at the City Hall's Taxpayer Service Center, or through designated WhatsApp and email channels. Regularization options include full payment, joining current tax regularisation programs, or establishing new installment plans where permitted by law.
Failure to comply within the 30-day window may result in legal collection measures, such as extrajudicial protests and tax executions. In cases of defaulted installments, taxpayers may also lose specific tax benefits provided by municipal programs.
