Corumbá neighbor dispute involves armed man simulating police approach

A dispute between neighbors in Corumbá, Mato Grosso do Sul, escalated into an armed confrontation on Sunday afternoon. The incident began in the João de Deus neighborhood following a disagreement over a vehicle maneuver while attempting to enter a garage.

During the argument, a suspect drew a .40 caliber Imbel pistol and allegedly ordered bystanders to stand against a wall, simulating a police tactical approach. Military Police responded to the scene and seized the firearm along with 16 rounds of ammunition. The suspect claimed he drew the weapon in self-defense, and all parties involved were taken to the Corumbá Civil Police Station for legal proceedings.
