Corumbá opens R$ 1.3 million tender for Pantanal History Museum renovation

The City Hall of Corumbá has opened a bidding process for the renovation and readjustment of the historic building housing the Pantanal History Museum (MUHPAN) in Porto Geral. The estimated cost for the project is approximately R$ 1.3 million.

The renovation project, developed by the Foundation for Urban Development and Historical Heritage (FUPHAN), covers a 1,208.04 square meter area. Planned interventions include roof recovery, improvements to the drainage system, plumbing repairs, and the conservation of frames, railings, and handrails. Internal works will involve replacing damaged flooring and coatings, as well as upgrading sanitary facilities and ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities.

Additionally, the project includes the restoration of facades, doors, and windows, along with painting and the recovery of metal and wood elements.
