Corus Entertainment launches STACKTV streaming service in Canada

Corus Entertainment is transitioning its Global TV app into a new service called STACKTV. The rollout will occur in phases across mobile devices and connected televisions throughout the fall and winter.

The service will include a free tier allowing users to access on-demand series, movies, and live Global News, alongside ad-supported live channels that do not require a login. A paid subscription option, available through Prime Video for $14.99 per month following a seven-day trial, will provide access to live and on-demand programming from various Corus networks, including Global, W Network, Showcase, and Disney Channel.

Existing STACKTV subscribers via Prime Video can link their accounts to the dedicated app. Traditional cable and satellite customers can also continue to use their provider credentials to access included channels.
