Corvera launches health challenge for seniors

The Corvera City Council has launched ‘Reto Actívate’, a health initiative designed for residents over the age of 55. The program aims to promote physical activity, healthy habits, and active mobility as part of the European Week of Mobility and Accessibility. The challenge is scheduled to run until October 16, 2026.

Participants can track their progress through the ‘Liga Actívate’ mobile application, which allows users to register steps and view their standing in a municipal ranking. To encourage engagement, the initiative includes prizes such as sports equipment. Local officials emphasized that the goal is to provide a simple and entertaining way for seniors to incorporate movement into their daily lives and foster community connection.
