Corvette Racing prepares for Lone Star Le Mans at COTA

TF Sport’s Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3. R teams are preparing for the six-hour Lone Star Le Mans at the Circuit of The Americas as part of the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The No. 34 Racing Team Turkey Corvette, driven by Peter Dempsey, Salih Yoluc, and Charlie Eastwood, qualified 12th in the preliminary session. The trio previously secured wins at Interlagos.

The championship-leading No. 33 Corvette, driven by Jonny Edgar, Nicky Catsburg, and Ben Keating, will start 17th. The crew currently holds the top three positions in the LMGT3 class championship, though the No. 33 car faces challenges including 36 kg of success ballast and extreme Texas heat. Driver Jonny Edgar noted that securing any points in this round would be a significant achievement given the current competitive standings.
