Corvex to expand AI computing capacity fivefold by 2026

Corvex, Inc. has announced a major expansion of its AI computing infrastructure, aiming to increase its critical IT power capacity more than fivefold by the end of 2026. The company plans to scale from approximately 1.5 MW to roughly 8 MW through the doubling of capacity at an existing Mid-Atlantic data center and the establishment of operations at a new enterprise-scale site in the Midwest.

These deployments are expected to bring approximately 3,000 latest-generation GPUs online across both sites. Corvex has also secured a right of first refusal for an additional 12.5 MW of capacity at the Midwest site, which could potentially push total capacity beyond 20 MW. Revenue from these expansions is anticipated to begin in the first quarter of 2027.

To support this growth, Corvex has appointed Garrett Brams, formerly a managing director at Cushman & Wakefield, to lead its data center sourcing and development strategy. Brams will oversee the evaluation, leasing, and development of mission-critical projects to accelerate the company’s AI Factory platform.
